For the second time in a row, the Tesat Parts Agency was awarded with the "Supplier of the Year" award in the category "Value-Add Supplier" by Rockwell Collins. The US aerospace company awards the prize – it could almost be called a trophy – in a total of ten categories, although not every category is awarded if there is no corresponding performance. We can therefore be particularly proud of the fact that we have been repeatedly selected from hundreds of suppliers worldwide.

Rockwell Collins Inc. was founded in 1933 as a manufacturer of radio and communications equipment and is now a worldwide group with sales of around 4.6 billion US dollars. With more than 20,000 employees in more than 150 countries, the company's core business is the development and delivery of innovative products and services for the aerospace industry.

The award, which relates to EEE Parts services' for Rockwell Collins Germany and its worldwide spin-wheel business for satellites, was handed over to Tesat in Backnang by Carla M. Lankester, Director of EuMEA Operations. Present were also the Purchasing Manager Martin Föhrenbach as well as other employees of Rockwell Collins Germany. Apart from the department heads of the Parts Agency and the EEE Center, Tesat was mainly represented by those employees, who worked directly in 2016 for the successful customer projects.

At the awarding presentation, it was put in the foreground that Rockwell Collins Germany was – due to Tesat’s outstanding performance – able to deliver the desired quality to its customers in a timely manner. We provide comprehensive support, ensure a smooth production process and manage the suppliers of the EEE parts. In addition, we store the components in the sense of a "just-in-time" production and are, in the event of a problem, a quick reaction and a competent partner for solutions.
