TESAT Supplier Award 2024: Honouring the best
The TESAT Supplier Award is a special honour for companies that stand out for their excellent service and fast delivery times.
This year, #TeamTESAT has selected the best from over 1,100 suppliers and is pleased to announce this year's winners: Axis Tech s.r.o., Mielenz GmbH, Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, Schenz Frästechnik and Wolf Präzisionsmechanik GmbH. These companies impressed the jury with their outstanding delivery service and reliable customer support and prevailed against strong competition.
The winners at a glance:
Axis Tech s.r.o.: Since the first orders in 2018, the collaboration has developed rapidly. The order volume remains at a consistently high level and the company is continuously expanding its portfolio for TESAT. Axis Tech s.r.o. is well on the way to becoming an important key supplier for TESAT.
Mielenz GmbH: Mielenz GmbH has already received the award for the tenth time and was able to increase the volume of cooperation last year. The unconditional will to excellence and the constant support make this company a highly valued partner of TESAT.
Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG: The decades of excellent cooperation were honoured for the fourth time this year. Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG is an enormously important partner with a wide range of products and has consistently delivered the best performance over the last eight years.
Schenz Frästechnik: We honoured Schenz Frästechnik for the fourth time in a row and for the ninth time in total. The smooth cooperation and outstanding consistency in performance are unique and make Schenz Frästechnik an indispensable partner.
Wolf Präzisionsmechanik GmbH: Although it has only been in business for three years, Wolf Präzisionsmechanik GmbH has already received the award for the second time. The company serves a wide range of parts and is an essential supplier for TESAT, especially in the pre-development of sample parts.

ABOUT TESAT
TESAT supplies the key components for satellite communications that are utilized from telecommunications through navigation and climate/earth observation to science. The product range spans from the smallest space-specific components to modules, entire assemblies or payloads. More than half of all communication satellites in orbit have TESAT equipment on board. It is being developed, assembled, integrated and tested by around 1,100 employees in Backnang, Germany and in Merritt Island, Florida. TESAT is the first company that has been delivering products and systems for optical communications via laser in space.
