Tesat-Spacecom, headquartered in Backnang, is the world market leader in communications technology and subsystems for satellite communications. In more than 50 years, we have carried out around 700 space projects. 1,200 employees develop, manufacture and test the highly reliable devices and complete payloads for all leading satellite manufacturers. In addition, we are successfully investing in forward-looking data transmission, such as terminals for laser communications.

 

Your tasks

  • Independent planning and realization of optical measurement setups
  • Execution of measuring series
  • Development, simulation and setup of analog control circuits
  • Support in the daily work of the laser laboratory

 

Your qualification

  • Matriculated student of physics, laser technology, optoelectronics or comparable
  • Basic knowledge about simulation tools, e.g. PSpice desirable
  • Basic knowledge in analog circuit technology
  • Interest in experimental laboratory work
  • Commitment and independent work are self-evident
  • Very good German as well as good English language skills are required

 

Start: winter semester 2017/18

Duration: 4 to 6 months
